Langtang Region in Nepal

The nearest Himalayan Region from Kathmandu valley is the langtang valley. Little hours' drive from Kathmandu will bring you to the gorgeous Langtang region. Despite being very nearby to Kathmandu, the Langtang Region is as desolate as any Tibetan highlands with pleasant rural landscape. The people living in the moorlands of the Langtang region are undoubtedly Nepalese but being the progeny of the Tibetan origin, they look like the Tibetans. Hence, Langtang region is one of the most prevalent trekking regions for those desiring a short trek from Kathmandu into the Himalayas inclined by Tibetan lifestyle. Furthermore, associated with the varieties of rhododendron, bamboo forests, grand waterfalls and snow-capped Himalayas make the trek most different treks nearby Kathmandu.

Beginning of Langtang Valley Trek jumps with a day's bus ride from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. We initiate the walk from Syabrubesi. We head to Lama Hotel and Langtang village until we reach at the famous Kanyanjing Gompa. After sightseeing the region, we trek the same way to Syabrubesi from where we drive back to Kathmandu.  Langtang is a region lies in the Himalayas of Nepal to the north of the Kathmandu Valley and neighboring Tibet the Langtang National Park is positioned in the area. About 4,500 people live inside the park, and many more hinge on on it for wood and firewood. The typical of the residents are Tamang.

The park comprises an extensive variety of climatic zones, from subtropical to alpine. Around 25% of the park is forested. Trees embrace the deciduous oak and maple, and evergreens like pine and varieties of rhododendron. Animal life contains Himalayan black bear the goat-like Himalayan tahr,, Red panda and Rhesus monkey. There are also pieces of Yeti detections. The park encompasses the Gosainkunda lakes, holy to Hindus Pilgrimages are prepared there in August. Another mystical site is the Buddhist monastery Kyanjin Gompa. General activities for tourists in the park include trekking, hiking and white-water rafting. A couple of villages counting Langtang, Bagmati have been devastated by a massive avalanche caused by an earthquake in 2015.

Langtang Valley this stunning trekking region is the third most famous trekking area in Nepal after Annapurna and Everest region. This charming area placed towards north of Kathmandu at 60 k.m. as the crow fly, a great amalgamation of moderate and daring walks that leads to the high alpine valley in the close milieu of high snow-capped peaks, in the springtime  the forest of this area is flourishing with rhododendrons, magnolia and other wild alpine flowers.

 Langtang Valley conglomerates extensive range of cultural tradition with antique ethnic tribes Tamangs, Yolmus and Bhotias who have created from Tibet in the past 500 years till the mid 20th century. The Langtang region is inside the National Park wild-life such as Himalayan black bear, wild cats the indefinable Snow Leopard, Himalayan Thar, jackel, snow wolves, deer’s and 30-40 species of bird life sideways with the most elusive and coy Red Panda which you are expected to get with  on this astounding spot and on the way to Langtang Valley.
